Empty ULD Release Procedure
1. Reserve space through Ezycargo or contact our Cargo Reservation Office (telephone (852)2747-7222 or fax (852)2753-5751).
2. When space is confirmed, lodge an Empty Unit Release Request to our ULD Control at (852)2767-9698 or through Ezycargo.
2.1. The Release Request shall include the followings: 2.1.1. Quantity / type of ULD 2.1.2. Flight / date 2.1.3. Expected collection date / time 2.1.4. Port 2.1.5. Cargo agent name 2.1.6. Packing material required 2.2. Quantity / type of the requested ULD must correspond to the space allocated.
3. Our staff shall approve the request after necessary matching and issue an ULD Release Form (URF) to our Cargo Terminal Operator CPCT and at the same time, an approval status with URF number will be transmitted to TRAXON.
4. Cargo agent can check the status of respective Release Request through Ezycargo or contact our ULD Control.
5. Prepare the "Empty Airline Unit Declaration Form" and approach CPCT Truck Control Office (TCO) for registration.
5.1. The Declaration Form shall include the followings:
5.1.1. Cargo agent name 5.1.2. Airline name / code 5.1.3. URF number 5.1.4. Registration number of the truck
6. When the ULD is ready, TCO will broadcast an admittance message.
7. Important Notice:
7.1. Please check the ULD condition before leaving. For cargo pallet, ensure CX net is assembled. Do not accept cargo pallet with foreign net. Pallet return with foreign net will be considered as missing net. 7.2. Charge will be imposed if any of the following occurs: 7.2.1. Missing, damage of the ULD or any part of the ULD. 7.2.2. ULD could not be returned before ends of free usage period. Our policy for free usage period is 5 days i.e. the demurrage charge will be imposed starting from the 6th day onward.
